The Wheeling-Ohio County Board of Health is considering proposed changes to the Wheeling- Ohio County Clean Indoor Air Regulation of 2005. The Board of Health has developed a draft of the new regulation. The Board of Health is accepting written public comments. Written comments will be received until October 29, 2015 at 12 noon. Comments must be in writing and either mailed to the Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department, Attn: Howard Gamble MPH, Administrator, 1500 Chapline Street, Room 106, Wheeling, WV 26003 or submitted by e-mail to:

No comments will be received by telephone or orally in person. The Board of Health will hold a public hearing on the draft regulation on October 29, 2015 beginning at 12 noon in the City Council Chambers, 1st Floor, City/County Building, 1500 Chapline Street, Wheeling, WV. At the hearing the Board of Health will review all public comments and hear oral presentations in favor and in opposition to the regulation. The oral presentation will be limited to two minutes per speaker and will be taken in the order in which the requests are received. Individuals should contact the health department to be placed on the presentation agenda.
