NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO CHANGE RATES

R & L TRASH SERVICE, LLC

On July 6, 2020, R & L Trash Service, LLC filed an Application to increase solid waste rates and charges under P.S.C. M.C. Certificate No. F-6992, for its customers in Ritchie and Wood Counties, West Virginia.
The Staff of the Public Service Commission has reviewed the Application and recommended a 16.94% increase in rates, which is a $16.50 per month charge for residential service and an across-the-board increase of 11.45% for commercial and industrial customers. The current and Staff-recommended rates are as follows:

Anyone desiring to protest the proposed rates and charges must do so, in writing, within ten (10) days of the date of publication of this notice. All protests should be addressed to the Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, P.O. Box 812, Charleston, West Virginia 25323. To help the Commission determine the justification for additional review and investigation, protests must be specific as to reasons that the proposed rates and charges should be modified.
The Commission may adopt rates and charges for the company which are the same as, greater than or less than the Staff-recommended rates and charges.
