AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that The Chemours Company FC, LLC., located at Chemours Washington Works, has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a Class II Administrative Update for a Fluoropolymer production facility identified as Process C1 located on 8480 DuPont Road located in Washington Bottom near Parkersburg WV, in Wood County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: 39 16 10.759, -81 40 4.560 [WGS-1984]
The applicant estimates the decrease in potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutant associated with Permit R13-2365L will be:
Fluoride (as Hydrogen Fluoride) decreasing 0.0376 tons/year,
Particulate Matter (10 micron or less) decreasing 0.297 tons/year.
Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the 12th day of July 2021. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
