AIR QUALITY PERMIT
NOTICE
Notice of Application

Notice is given that The Beaver Excavating Company has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a Temporary Permit for a nonmetallic mineral processing facility located at 460 Bosley Industrial Park Drive, near Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: 39*12’47.94″N and 81*33’10.88″W.

The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be: Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) – 1.47 tpy, Carbon Monoxides (CO) – 12.84 tpy, Particulate Matter (PM10) – 42.09 tpy, Sulfur Dioxides (SO2) – 0.01 tpy, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) – 0.70 tpy.

Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about June 15, 2021. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Written comments will also be received via email at

@WV.gov .
