Notice is hereby given that the City of Parkersburg, in accordance with Article 1705.08 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Parkersburg, West Virginia, claims a lien to secure the payment of the sum of Thirteen Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars and 00/100 (13,900.00), plus interest from date of lien, upon your interest in and to the herein described real property lying, situate and being in the City of Parkersburg, County of Wood, State of West Virginia, being more particularly bounded and described as follows:

BEGINNING on the southside of Fifteenth Street, at a point 26 westerly from the northwest corner of a lot owned by J.W. Mather; thence running west with Fifteenth Street, 26-1/2 feet to a point; thence at right angles in a southerly direction, 165 feet to a point; thence at right angles in an easterly direction, 26-1/2 feet to a point; thence at right angles and parallel to the line of J.W. Mather lot, and 26 feet therefrom, 165 feet to the place of beginning.

BEING the same property conveyed to Paul E. Anderson & John A. Anderson by deed book dated March 7th, 2003 recorded in deed book 1078 Page 920.

Such claim is made on the basis that the City of Parkersburg has caused to be demolished certain building(s) formerly located upon the above described real property.

The nature of the work performed upon the aforesaid buildings and upon the above described real property, pursuant to a contract for demolition awarded to JIMMIE HARPER CONSTRUCTION INC., under lawful bidding procedures, was the demolition by the aforesaid contractor on or around the 13th day of April, 2021. Said lien is claimed at the price and amount set forth hereinabove, plus interest from date of lien, as shown more fully in the invoice submitted by said contractor which is attached hereto as City Exhibit 1, and in the statement of various costs necessary and incidental, for such demolition which is attached hereto as City Exhibit 2, which may both be viewed by contacting the City of Parkersburg.
