Proposed Wirt County Primary/Middle School Cafeteria Electrical Upgrade
A pre-bid conference relating to the Proposed Wirt County Primary/Middle School Cafeteria Electrical Upgrade will be held at the Wirt County Board of Education, located at 389 Mulberry Street, Elizabeth, WV 26143. The pre-bid will take place on July 15, 2021, at 1:00PM. Contractors in attendance at the meeting will be able to look at and assess project area at Wirt County Schools Bus Garage, located at 537 Mulberry Street, Elizabeth, WV 26143. Following completion of the pre-bid conference, sealed bids for the Proposed Wirt County Primary/Middle School Cafeteria Electrical Upgrade will be accepted until July 22, 2021, at 1:00 PM. This is the final deadline for project bid submittals. The sealed bid needs to be received at Wirt County Board of Education, 389 Mulberry Street, Elizabeth, WV, 26143, or via mail at Wirt County Board of Education, PO Box 189, Elizabeth, WV 26143, prior to the aforementioned deadline. Bids must be labeled “Wirt County Primary/Middle School Cafeteria Electrical Upgrade”. Immediately following the closing time of the reception of the bids, all proposal, which have been submitted in accordance with the conditions and terms of the proposed project, will have their Contract Documents publicly opened and read aloud. The Wirt County Board of Education reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids.
The project specifications include providing all labor and materials to complete the following tasks:
1. Install 225 AMP Electrical Panel
2. Install 225 AMP Breaker in existing Main
Electrical Panel
3. Install Dry Type Distribution Transformer
4. Install necessary wiring; including conduit for the project
5. Any further specifications shared at pre-bid meeting
6. Dispose of all debris and haul away
Checklist for Bidding; includes the following:
1. Provide copy of liability insurance
2. Provide copy of WV Worker’s Compensation coverage
3. Business License
4. Drug-Free Workplace Affidavit
5. Complete W-9
6. Complete No Debt Affidavit
7. If bid is over $25,000 (bond will be required)
