REQUEST FOR BIDS
The Roane County Commission is soliciting bids for renovations to the WVU Extension Office at the Spencer Library to ensure the health and safety of the public and staff. This includes permanent glass walls and doors for the office areas of the WVU Extension Staff.
Sealed bids must be clearly marked as “Library/Extension Glass Project” and will be received by the Roane County Commission at 200 Main Street, Spencer, WV 25276. Sealed bids must be received no later than 11:00 am August 27, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Project specifications can be obtained from the WVU Extension office or on www.roanewv.com under Bidding Information. With the bid, contractor must provide proof of liability insurance, Workers Compensation (or exemption), and a valid contractor’s license.
The Roane County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality therein. All bids must be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of opening.
