Notice is hereby given that on the 28th day of October, 2024, at 9:45 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, Petitioner, Samantha Jo Love, will apply by petition to the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia, for the entry of an order by said Court, changing Petitioner’s name from Samantha Jo Love to Andy Joe Andrew. At which time any interested party may appear and be heard, if they so desire. Further said hearing may be rescheduled without further notice or publication. A copy of said petition can be obtained from the undersigned Clerk at his/her office.

HOPE GAS, INC.
Application to change depreciation rates.
NOTICE OF HEARING
On August 7, 2024, Hope Gas, Inc. (Hope) filed an application to change depreciation rates (Application) pursuant to Rule 20 of the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure (Procedural Rules), 150 C.S.R. 1 and its general ratemaking authority under W. Va. Code Section 24-2-3. Pursuant to Procedural Rule 20.4, the proposed rates could go into effect sixty days from the date of filing. However, Hope requested that the Commission approve the proposed revised depreciation rates for implementation effective with the effective date of new base rates that will be established in Hope’s next Rule 42T base rate case filing. Hope anticipates that it will file its next Rule 42 base rate case after January 2025.
The Commission set a procedural schedule, including a hearing date on the Application that will begin at 9:30 a.m. on January 29, 2025, in the Howard M. Cunningham Hearing Room at the Commission’s offices at 201 Brooks Street, Charleston, West Virginia.
Anyone desiring to intervene should file a written petition to intervene within 30 days following the date of this publication unless otherwise modified by Commission order. All requests to intervene should briefly state the reason for the request to intervene and comply with the rules on intervention set forth in the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure. The Commission will receive public comments until the beginning of the hearing. All written comments and requests to intervene should state the case name and number and be addressed to the Commission Executive Secretary, P.O. Box 812, Charleston, West Virginia 25323.
